These are a couple pictures that I took a few days ago of the chapel in downtown Franklin where Parish Presbyterian meets. It is a wonderful building with much history. Maybe I'll get into that sometime. For now, I don't look forward to the day when we will leave it.

My Little Super Heroes
For Halloween this year we decided to go with a super hero theme. Abi dressing up as Wonder Woman brought back some childhood memories. Do you any of you guys remember Lynda Carter? If any of you are interested, I will be Batman.

Scarecrow Day
We were given an old costume from a friend that helped make Abi look adorable for Scarecrow Day at school. Here are a few pics.

Change of Scenery
My old office was 35 miles away and consisted of the space that you see below.
My new office is anywhere and any size I want it to be.

Debate 2008 at Belmont University
Tonight we went to the Ryman Auditorium to watch a live feed of the town-hall debate that was taking place on the campus of Belmont University. It was primarily Belmont alumni and Nashville dignitaries in attendance. Denver & the Mile High Orchestra performed prior to the debate, which was a great show, making the debate somewhat anticlimactic.
Below is a picture taken once we got back to the car after walking a couple blocks from the Ryman in the rain.

Adien's New Toy
We pulled the Step & Play Piano out of the attic for Aiden. As you can see in these pictures he took an immediate liking to it. Notice how it appears that Aiden's chin has sprung a leak.

I Love Autumn!!
Tonight it was just me and the kids as Pam was on her way to Atlanta. It was a beautiful fall night...perfect for a little time outside and a photo of the kids.

Green Beans????...Green Beans!!!!
A couple nights ago we started baby food with Aiden. We started with green beans thinking that it would be best to start with one of the nastier tasting vegetables. Obviously, we were mistaken.

Afraid of Heights?
For my birthday Pamela made arrangements for us to go climbing. It was first for me and turned out to be a lot of fun. We were able to get one of the girls working to belay so we could take a few pictures.

Sunday Afternoon Out with the Family
This afternoon after church we had some time to kill before a birthday party so we went by a Civil War memorial site in Franklin. We only had time stop for a few minutes, but had enough time to have someone take a couple photos.

Crazy Day...Crazy Hair
Monday was Crazy Day at Abi's school. Abi had the great idea of having "crazy hair"...six ponytails to be specific.

Watchman Shed
This picture was taken of a watchman shed on the property of Amish Acres. In the 1880's wagon traffic across the railroad tracks was busy enough to warrant someone manning the crossing and advising traffic when a train was coming. This building was used before automated railroad crossings made their appearance in the 1950's. When the building was retired it was given to the last watchman and used as a child's playhous (hence the pink interior) until restored in 2004.

Fireworks At Blueberry
This is a picture taken at the fireworks show at the Blueberry Festival in Plymouth, IN over Labor Day weekend. It is always one of the most entertaining fireworks shows I have ever seen.
